Megilla it's a parchment scroll with a Hebrew manuscript of the Book. It was designed for individual reading at home and in a synagogue in the period of the early spring holiday of Purim.

The cover in the shape of a roll, decorated with an engraved floral and geometrical ornament, topped with an openwork crown; closed with a roller with a relief floral ornament at the bottom. Outside there is an oval, a mobile handle clipped with three rings, decorated with an engraved floral ornament. The handle serves for rolling the parchment scroll of the Book of Esther, wound on the metal axis running through the inside of the cover.
