A red round cardboard pouncet-box used to store rouge. On the lid of the box, there is a richly decorated paper label with a wreath composed of stylized acanthus leaves and branches with flowers. A pair of children, a girl and a boy, sit on the opposite sides of the wreath. The children support a garland of flowers. Between them, a plaque with the inscription “No 18” and a decorative vase with a bouquet of flowers are woven into the wreath. In the middle of the field, there is an inscription: “ROUGE / FIN / DE THÉÂTRE / approuve par la Faculté de Médecine / DORIN. FABt. à PARIS / FRANCE.” At the very base of the label, there is a small serial number 446. The edge of the pouncet-box is secured with a paper sticker featuring a brand mark (torn at the opening). The field with the logo is located inside a red circle braided with a ribbon, crowned with lilies; in the circle – there is an entwined monogram and an illegible inscription on a red background. Above the mark, there is a black inscription “DEPOSÉ,” below – “MARQUE DE FABRIQUE.” Inside the box, the original contents are preserved: pink powder.
